Impossible? Improbable |

I can pretty much guarantee you haven’t played anything like The Impossible Quiz before. Yeah, it’s a quiz. And no, it’s not impossible. And if you say ‘oh, well, I’ve taken a quiz before,’ I assure you that its logic couldn’t have been as twisted as this one. Get ready for 100+ questions of logic, humor, luck, and randomness.
In The Impossible Quiz, you just have to answer questions. Questions are generally presented in a multiple-choice format, with four answers to choose from. I say ‘generally,’ because you never know exactly what the next question will be. Sometimes you have to search for things in a picture, put a puzzle together, perform a certain mouse movement, click things in order, or even play a minigame. Each time through the game you have three ‘lives,’ and answering a question wrong takes a life. You can also collect ‘skips’ as you play through the game, which let you (as you would guess) skip a question. Some questions also have bombs attached to them, and if you don't answer before the time is up it's an automatic game over.
The art is on the sloppy side but it’s done purposefully. If you want proof, just check out Splapp-me-do’s deviant art page to see what he can really do. The artwork has just the right amount of sub-par quality to fit a game of this nature, without looking bad. The music is just a bunch of random tracks that play end to end, so you can either sit through them or mute it and put on your own tunes.
To be honest, this game can get pretty annoying. About 70% of the questions can be answered by following some sort of twisted logic pattern, but the rest you have to guess on, or aren’t even questions at all. You’ll be dying quite a lot, and each time you do you have to restart at the very beginning. It will piss you off, but you’ll keep playing. I made it to the 60’s before looking at an answer list, and even then I still died. Making it through all 100+ questions by your self is truly an achievement to be proud of. However, you’ll find yourself grinning at many of the questions, and feeling accomplished when you figure out why the answer is what it is. Even though it’s just a quiz game, there’s a lot of content to see here. Plus, the sheer amount of time (even if it’s repeated time) required to fully beat this game exceeds that of many other flash titles. So go on, give it a shot. How far can you get?
