Meal or no Meal

All the fun without Howie Mandel! |

Meal or no Meal is a game based on the hit TV show, "Deal or no Deal". The only big differences are that instead of winning just a monetary value, you are also trying to win a food item along with the monetary value. Instead of picking briefcases, as in the TV show, you choose platters. And as in the show, you will be prompted to accept or decline an offer from the "chef". With this game being short of Howie Mandel, the banker, annoying contestants, and bad plot thickening ideas, it's a true winner.
When I first played the game, I thought it was very clever. I played through a few times seeing all the food prizes and trying to get the grand prize, "Erect Strawberry Cake". Meal or no Meal also has a bonus feature between a random round where you add or subtract value from the next chef offer. I believe that it's possible to win more than the actual grand prize of 1,000,000 and cake, although I have yet to accomplish it. Meal or no Meal kept me entertained for roughly a half-hour. I still find myself going to this game every now and then for a quick thrill.
Meal or no meal has appropriate sound effects, music, and interactivity that you would associate with such a game. It has nice art and appropriate photos for each of it's food prizes. One cannot ask too much more for a "Deal or no Deal" parody... Except models. Let's not nitpick though, right?
