‘Worst point and click game that will ever exist’ probably sounds pretty harsh, but once you give this game a play you’ll quickly see why. I don’t feel bad saying it either, because it was pretty much done on purpose. Uninvited is a parody on the point and click genre produced in an abysmal fashion- and it’s actually pretty funny.

In Uninvited you have to find the red diamond. Why? That will be the least of your worries. You start outside of a random house (not even your own) and as you would guess, everything is explored via clicking. Anything you can enter/interact with glows or is highlighted when you mouse over it (save for a couple secret parts) so don’t worry about missing anything. Essentially, there’s only one possible path to take through the game, while every other alternative will kill you. Not a big deal though, cause it never takes long to get back to where you were. This is the part of the game that’s actually entertaining though. Every path results in something completely random and leaves you with a complimentary death message if it’s the wrong one. Even when you do find the correct way you’ll find yourself going back to click on other ones ‘just to see what happened’

The graphics are terrible, and could all be duplicated in seconds by a three year-old using Paint. They’re essential to the comedic value though, so enjoy them. You’ll find yourself traveling to such exotic locations as the floating purple platform of destiny and living room of doom. The music is just a single track ripped from Danny Elfman, but it works I guess. There’s a couple of ‘puzzles’ to solve but you’re mostly just clicking anything you see. Given the quality of the game there are actually quite a few areas to go to, even if 90% of them kill you. Honestly, there’s not much else I can say- go play the worst point and click game now and feel honored for it. And yes, the red diamond actually exists.
