There is no part of Bowling Master that makes you feel like you’re playing a bowling game. Let alone being a master of it. This game should have been labeled ‘Clicking Master’
Bowling Master is set up like any game of bowling should- Ten frames, two balls each. In a flash bowling game though, you would expect there to be some kind of control scheme setup to mimic the actions of bowling. You know- click the ball, shove your mouse forward, and let go. Something like that. Just anything that lets you customize the angle and power of the ball. Sadly, that isn’t the case here. All you do is click and hold the mouse button, and release when the meter is close to green. The only way to get a strike is to release perfectly on green, otherwise the best you’ll get is a spare.
The thing is, this kind of gameplay could be applied to ANYTHING. Not just any sport, but anything you could think of. Stopping the meter close to green could represent any accomplishment, be it a slam dunk, scoring a goal, killing an enemy, or whatever. The timing is a little tricky but after a few frames you’ll be hitting every almost every ball somewhere in the green area. Repeat for ten frames and that’s the whole package. No other modes, options, extras, nothing.
Graphics/sound/presentation are all standard fare. However for some reason when pressing the ‘Sound’ button in-game it still bowls for me, and doesn’t seem to do anything to the sound at all. Was an oversight as glaring as this really necessary? Whatever. If you like meter-timing set to a bowling theme then have fun, but if you actually want something that acts like bowling then keep looking.

God, you're right. This game was horrible. Who ever made this should be shot. This was nothing like bowling, and it took me a little while to get what I was supossed to do. I couldn't even finish a whole damn game...
