Zombies

When you see the word zombies in the game’s title, you think that it’s like all of the other games that you’ve heard of or played. This isn’t the case. This game is somewhat unique. Sure you have a guy, a gun and a room full of zombies but this game was created from the perspective of someone looking down from the rafters or a catwalk.

Your job is to use the W, A, S, D keys and the mouse to aim and fire your gun. The controls are simple and it makes the game pretty simple and easy to play. The graphics aren’t the greatest in the world and can be dramatically improved, especially because your guy is a big black dot with what looks more like a pipe than a gun. Another problem with the graphics is that the zombies are big green dots that don’t look anything like zombies.

There is also a number that has been placed in the upper left hand corner that just looks like a random part of the background but it’s actually the hit meter that counts down before you die. It just doesn’t belong in that particular spot. Other problems with the game include some glitches where the zombies can walk through the walls but the bullets can’t go through the walls. The walls are also poorly or carelessly drawn.

The music is ok but the loop gets to be annoying after a while if you’re idle. There also aren’t enough levels to this game and the zombies aren’t randomized so that if you play over and over, you know what to expect every single time.

Suggestions for the game include cleaning up the graphics, having an off switch for the music, randomizing the zombies, adding more levels, making it harder, and moving the hit counter to another location and specifying exactly what that number in the corner does. This would make the game much better than it is right now.
